Feedback during the coaching process
During our coaching relationship you can be sure that I will regularly
seek feedback from you on the way our coaching is progressing and how
you are benefiting. I will always confirm that the process is working
for you and make changes appropriately.
What my clients and colleagues say about coaching:
"I have worked with Jo James for nearly ten years,
and see her as a natural coach who helps people to achieve great
business and personal results. Jo
makes strong connections with people, she listens well, communicates
with integrity, building trust and confidence all the while. Under
her leadership, people and teams flourished, finding they had the capability
and capacity to do more, and to do it better, than they originally thought
possible. She is pragmatic, approachable and always works with
warmth and humour!"

"I've got to be honest when the idea of life coaching
was presented to me, I was quite sceptical. For the whole of the 29 years
of my life I have never really known what I wanted to do - I had had
some short term, general goals like go to Uni, earn a decent salary and
travel as much as possible but when it came to what type of career path
I wanted to follow, I had no idea. I didn't really think either that
a few life coaching session would magically give the the direction
that I needed - 8
months in South America on a career break hadn't so I didnt see how a
few hours of life coaching could. However, having worked with Jo
James previously, I had a lot of respect for her and felt maybe
if nothing else she may be able to give me some guidence help me
weigh up my options.
The main thing about the sessions is that its a full hour talking with
an experienced professional about what you want to talk about - in my
case, my career. Jo helped me explore my work history to try and establish
what I had enjoyed doing, what I had been good at doing, what I'd not
enjoyed and what I might like to do in the future. We looked at my skills,
my strengths, where I had been most happy. I came away from the
sessions feeling really positive and with a much clearer direction in 2
areas in which I wanted to progress my job search. Following this I gained
some work experience in one specific area and feel for the first time
ever I know where I want to be and I have a plan on how to get myself
there. An important lesson that Jo taught me was that she was not going
to provide me with the answers, I had the answers myself but by
talking to her, she helped me find them. I would highly recommend life
coaching to anyone who has some decisions to make and needs some guidance
on making them."

"Jo is a natural coach. I found Jo to
be supportive, focused and totally committed to my success. In
a coaching conversation she challenges me to think beyond my assumptions
about what's possible and helps me to see what I can do to move forwards. The
one word that captures my experience with Jo is TRUST. You can TRUST
Jo to be 100% committed to help you find what your real goals are, TRUST
Jo to help you find your own pathway, TRUST Jo to be highly professional
and capable with her coaching skills and TRUST Jo with helping you find
your direction. Jo is one of the most principled, professional,
discreet --and inspiring people-- I have had the pleasure to work with."

"I have had coaching from Jo James for sometime now, on moving
from a stressful situation into a new way of life completely. Her
encouragement and structure of the coaching enabled me to see that
I could evolve myself in a way that I had once only ever dreamed of. I
now am in control of my own destiny and have recently became self employed
but still using the experience and skills I have from my many years
of working for multi national companies. If you have ever thought
that there is now way to get out of a situation, you think you are
stuck in a rut, my advice to you would be to look up Jo James Life
Coach, it is worth every penny and could be the best investment you
ever make for yourself. My life is totally turned around -
and for the better."

"As an HR leader, Jo's successfully navigated many
of the most challanging issues facing business leaders today... including
outsourcing, start-ups, downsizing, international relocation, organization
design and talent development. Along the way, she's provided countless
people with meaningful performance and career management guidance. Her
real life experiences provide invaluable perspective for anyone facing
the fast paced change inevitable in today's business environment."

"I had always wanted to spend some time with a Personal
Coach because I was sure a coach would help me to identify my goals and
plan a feasible strategy to achieve these goals. Specifically I knew
I wanted to learn better ways to organise my life and my work, effectively
address a couple of personal relationship issues, build more of the things
I like into my life and learn to stop behaviours/attitudes that were
holding me back.
As a personal Coach Jo helped me to achieve this.
There is no other time in your life (or at least my life!) where I could
feel comfortable sitting down and talking about myself for an hour every
week. It
was very liberating. The reason it worked was because I knew I
wanted to make changes and I had a fair idea of what those changes would
be. Jo
helped me to crystalise things, visualise the person I wanted to
be and plan how I could make the changes.
Personal Coaching has given me the tools to plan
my life the way I want to live it. I now feel that I'm in a position
to coach myself into achieving the goals I have set. Thank you Jo
for giving me these tools. I'm forever grateful to you for what
I've learned."
